Reading Blogs & Book Reports

Hi! Long time ago? I hope you have had a nice time!
This week we have about book reports. We are also reading an english novel at school.
Under you can see three links to blogs our teacher have recommended. I am also going to answer some questions belonging to the blogs :)
- Forever Young Adult
- Linda's Reading Blog
- Reading Year

- I would like to read the book "Flavors" from the blog "Lindas Reading Blog". I liked the book because it seemed like Sadie had been through many experience. Both bad and good. It looked like her life with her grandmother was not that easy so she had to fight for a better future. After reading a part of this book I have a thought about that Sadie is afraid to make any decisions because it can affect her relationship with the rest of her family so her aunts have to help her to make her feel safe and do the right things.

- What does a good book report look like? What should be included?
A book report should tell us the most important in the incident in a book. A book report should make the readers read the book with some few words.
In book reports all these things should be included:
- Author's name
- Title of the book
- Publisher and year Published
- Recommended age
- Recommended sex
- Genre of the book
- Short summary
- Your opinion
- Other books by the same author

I want to recommend the book "Sunita's secret"
Author: Narinder Dhami
Title: Sunita's secret
Publisher: Corgi YearlingPublished: 2006
Recommended age: 14-15
Recommended sex: Girls
Genre: Novel

Short summary: The book is about a girl named Sunita. Her father is a criminal and he stole a loads of money by doing fraud to others. After that he got caught and jailed, but ran from the jail. The whole family's photo's has been published in the local news, and therefore Sunita, Sunita's mum, and the twins Davey and Debby has to move to an other part of the town. Sunita starts in a school where the mayors daughter also goes. The mayors daughter Celina Patel is a rich, pretty, popular and fabulous girl, but she has recognized Sunita and knows about her secret. After some weeks Sunita Anand starts doing secret good deeds to other people in the same grade. ( Reparing books, left missing thing ...) When the principle at school are going to ask who started with the secret good deeds Celina take the credit and Sunita gets very mad. But one day the person who deserved the credit got it.

My opinion:
I liked this book because it told me clearly about what girls have to go through because of the family. It didn't have any picyures, but out from the description I could feel that I was Sunita and was behavioured in a bad way.

Other books by the same author: The author Narinder dhami has also written "Bindi babes" "Bhangra babes" and " Bollywood babes".
